Many of the things that I love when coming here is enjoying its amazing gastronomy and culture.
Around the city there are several towns you can visit such as Tapalpa, Tonala, Chapala, Tepatitlan, and my special favorite Tlaquepaque.

Being from Chiapas, I can’t help but adore this type of places. I love walking all day long through the colonial streets, going into every store and see all the handicrafts, from jewelry and leather goods to art, sculptures and everything home deco. You can’t imagine all the gorgeous stuff they have; I could take everything with me! (Of course it wouldn’t fit in my suitcase).

Nothing made me happier that spending the day in this magical town with the best company in the world. If you follow me on Snapchat you would’ve seen that I was with two of my favorite Mexican bloggers @mariannaripa and @peppermintpauli (Do follow them I love their pictures!) [/md_text]

Tlaquepaque is a place where you’re going to walk a lot so your best options are a pair of comfy shoes and staying as fresh as possible. We wandered all through town, eating tons of ice cream and taking lots of pictures until the idea of sitting down and having a few drinks took over us. We found the cutest terrace where we had a couple of carajillos (Mexican drink based on liqueur and coffee) and listened to live music. Truthfully, we had an awesome day, full of chillness, great conversations, oh so great it was really impossible to shut us up, and as in every time I travel, food, desert, food and more food.

Here are two excellent choices to wear for this type of trips.

As you already know, a “white look” is always a sure thing and please have in mind the weather so you know how fresh your outfit has to be. This weekend turned out to be pretty warm so I went for sundresses made out of a very light fabric. Remember always mix it up with the right accessories to complement your look. For the white dress I used a black hat and a pair of comfy booties with low heels and for the black dress a pair of beach sandals and a t-shirt around the waist to give it a chic impression.

These kind of outfits are ideal for any place you travel to during summer.

All my love, Heidy. [/md_text]
